The F-Type gets more attention than any car I’ve ever had- and the interesting thing is that it’s often from people who don’t care very much about cars. I get grandmothers that stop me in parking lots just to say the car is beautiful. I’m not sure if that’s a pro or a con...maybe in black it would have been a bit more incognito. It’d probably be a bit more under the radar with the exhaust in quiet mode too, but I’m not willing to make that sacrifice.

Also, the car is ridiculously photogenic. With the CLS, it was tough to find a good angle. With this, it’s hard to find a bad one.

Oh and it sounds awesome.

I consider that a huge plus. Not the “worth a lot later” thing, but just the rarity. A lot of people have no idea what it is, many have never seen one before.

I find the same with my little Alfa. I’ve gotten compliments from old women, middle-aged dudes in beater pickups, stoner college kids, you name it. Probably not as many as the Jaaaag gets, but certainly from a varied audience.

All you ever comment is two words or “What’s ______” or “I like _____ better”. You’re not giving people much to respond to. Reminds me when my sister was young she complained to my mom that she never got any mail. So my mom was like “You should mail some people letters”.
